Privacy Notice
Short version: Tend is built to avoid knowing who you are.
What we collect
We collect no personal data: no name, email, phone number, account, login, or profile.
Your in-session messages are processed to generate a response and are not stored against you. We keep only anonymous, aggregate signals, such as broad activity counts, so Tend can work without attaching anything to your identity.
If you choose to send feedback, we keep the feedback message itself so we can read it and improve Tend - but never your name, and never anything that ties it to you.
What we do not do
- No third-party trackers.
- No advertising.
- No analytics SDKs.
- No cookies for tracking.
- We never sell or share your data - ever.
Crisis resources
Crisis resources are provided as a safety feature. If you tap or call a helpline, that call happens on your device and network, not through Tend.
If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact emergency services or a crisis helpline now. Get help now.
What Tend is not
Tend is an AI companion for self-reflection - not a human, not a therapist, and not a medical service. It does not provide therapy, medical advice, or diagnosis.
