Terms of Use

By using Tend, you agree to these plain-English terms.

What Tend is

Tend is a free, anonymous AI self-help and wellbeing companion. It is not therapy, not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a crisis service. Using Tend creates no doctor-patient or therapist-client relationship.

Who may use Tend

You must be 18 or older to use Tend.

Acceptable use

Use Tend for personal, non-commercial support and self-reflection. Do not abuse, attack, scrape, spam, or overload the service, and do not try to bypass safety or rate limits.

Emergencies

Tend is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline now. Get help now.

No warranty and limits

Tend is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Tend is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and liability is limited as far as the law allows.

Updates

These terms may be updated. Continued use of Tend after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Tend is an AI companion for self-reflection - not a human, not a therapist, and not a medical service. If you are in crisis, see Get help now.
